Present at the event were over 80 representatives from agencies such as UNESCO, the World Organization for Science Literacy, and the China Science and Technology Museum, laureates of the L’Oréal-UNESCO for Women in Science International Awards, and teacher representatives from Asia-Pacific science clubs. Following the joint launch of the African science clubs network in 2025, the two sides have now extended this model to Asia-Pacific. This marks a milestone in the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development and also signals the accelerating global expansion of the science popularization partnership jointly developed by BOE and UNESCO. BOE served as a co-host of the 2026 International Workshop on Capacity Building for Science Education Practice and is a co-founder and the exclusive technology partner of the 2026 Science Challenge.
