Japanese companies are working to broaden uses of photocatalysis. where exposure to light can break down harmful substances such as viruses, bacteria or mold, clean windows and maybe even generate hydrogen, The sense of smell can offer an important clue in the diagnosis of serious neurological illnesses, and a new digital olfactometry device promises to make smell tests much easier for patients and medics.
